Production Time Management

What Are Production Times?

Production times tell customers how long it takes to make their product. For example: "5 business days" for a custom t-shirt, "10 business days" for a mug.

Adding Production Times

Method 1: One at a Time

  1. Click "Production Times" in sidebar
  2. Click "+ Add Product"
  3. Enter Product ID and production days
  4. Click "Save"

Method 2: CSV Import

  1. Create CSV with columns: product_id, product_name, production_days
  2. Click "📥 Import CSV"
  3. Select your file
  4. Review import results

Method 3: Fetch Existing

  1. Click "🔍 Fetch from BC"
  2. App scans all products for existing production time fields
  3. Imports what it finds

Syncing to BigCommerce

Click "🔄 Sync to BigCommerce" to push production times to your store. The app will:

CSV Export

Click "📤 Export CSV" to download all production times as a spreadsheet. Great for backup or editing in bulk.

Shipping Rate Builder

Why Use This?

BigCommerce doesn't natively support percentage-based shipping with minimums. For example: "30% of cart total but never less than $40"

How It Works

The app creates 1,001 price tiers covering $0-$10,000 in $10 increments. This gives accurate percentage calculations at checkout.

Managing Subscription

  1. Go to "Billing" in sidebar
  2. Click "Manage Subscription"
  3. Opens Stripe Customer Portal
  4. Can update payment method, cancel, view invoices

Upgrading/Downgrading

Change plans anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at end of billing period. Your data is preserved.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do production times display on my store?

They appear as custom fields on product pages, showing "X business days (Ready by: Date)". They also appear on cart and checkout pages when configured.

Do shipping rates update in real-time?

Yes! Once created, rates are live in BigCommerce immediately. Customers see them at checkout based on their cart total.

Can I have different production times per product variant?

Currently, production times are per product, not per variant. We're working on variant-level support in a future update.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

You keep access until the end of your paid period. Then you're downgraded to Free. Your data is preserved. Shipping rates remain active in BigCommerce.

Can I use this with any BigCommerce theme?

Yes! Our styling works with all BigCommerce themes. The smart field detection automatically finds production time fields regardless of theme structure.

Is there a limit on API calls?

Free: 100/day, Pro: 1,000/day, Enterprise: Unlimited. We rate-limit sync operations to avoid BigCommerce API limits (500ms between requests).

Can I get a refund?

We offer 14-day free trials so you can test before committing. After that, no refunds for partial months, but you can cancel anytime.

Do you offer phone support?

Pro plans include priority email support (24-hour response). Enterprise plans include dedicated support with faster response times.
